Bodine Boling is a Brooklyn-based writer and filmmaker, and the creative director of Live from Here with Chris Thile, Saturdays from 6-8pm EST on public radio, or any time at livefromhere.org.

Bodine wrote, produced, starred in and edited the science fiction feature MOVEMENT AND LOCATION. Festival awards include best narrative feature, best screenplay, best actress, best original score and two audience awards. The film played theatrically in New York, LA and Chicago, and is 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Business Insider ranked it one of the "100 best science fiction movies of all time."

She directed and edited the music video for Magic Hour by Aoife O'Donovan, and produced and edited the music video for Vampire Weekend’s Mansard Roof.

Her voice can be heard in four novel audiobooks and hundreds of commercials.

For more than a decade, Bodine has served on the associate board of Urban Pathways, an organization helping homeless New Yorkers find stability and housing.
